United States Senator Maria Cantwell and her staff met with stakeholder groups and toured the Odessa Groundwater Replacement Program (OGWRP) project on October 24.
Astor Boozer, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) regional conservationist for the West Region; Roylene Comes At Night, Washington state
conservationist; and other NRCS staff toured the Odessa Groundwater Replacement Program (OGWRP) with OGWRP partners earlier this month.
At the June 1, 2022 Board of Directors meeting, the Board unanimously voted to indefinitely table the motion for consideration to change the use of grant funds which would impact the normalized-cost program.
Construction is slated to start late next year on another system to deliver Columbia River water to Odessa Subarea farms.
