The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District (ECBID) has announced that issues anticipated to cause possible delays to the start of the 2024 irrigation season have been successfully addressed.
The East Columbia Basin Irrigation District (ECBID) has announced a potential
minor delay in the filling of the East Low Canal. This is due to remedial work to be performed on
the Main Canal near Billy Clapp Lake and may result in a short delay in the priming of laterals
and water deliveries from the East Low Canal.
The Department of Agriculture Natural
Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is adopting the Bureau of Reclamation’s (Reclamation)
2012 Odessa Subarea Special Study Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) produced in
cooperation with the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology).
